Memphis Public Library hired MSS to design an 8,000 sf Teen Learning Lab in the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library. MSS developed the next iteration YOUmedia model with a robust program of Hanging Out, Messing Around, and Geeking Out (HOMAGO). Designed to foster college and career pathways, CLOUD 901 activates a creative process to produce competencies, confidences, products, and projects. CLOUD 901 is a destination for youth throughout the region for making book trailers, movie soundtracks, stop-motion animation, performing a poetry SLAM, or playing with robotics, teens at CLOUD901 are dreamers in the most high-tech space in Memphis. Come meet the next generation leaders, scientists, artists, tinkerers, movie-makers, fashion designers, music producers, critical thinkers, and engaged citizens!
